BRIDAL APPOINTMENT 101 - HELPFUL ADVICE FOR THE PERFECT BRIDAL APPOINTMENT
We are so excited for your journey to find your perfect dress and those that you want to be a part of this most special day. Our bridal suites are just like spending time in your living room - intimate, private and will make you feel like a real VIP. As you share your dress shopping experience with up to 3 guests, we know that you may want to share the experience with more of your peeps. We will get you attached to our complimentary Wifi, have outlets available for charging. We also have a mount for your phone or tablet so that they have the best seat in the house!!
Prior to your appointment, you will receive an email to ask that you complete a bridal appointment survey so that we can get to know you and your special day. Sending us a link to your pinterest or sending along pictures of what you envision will help us be prepared to dazzle you with all the amazing options we will have for you.
Many brides are so nervous to start their journey towards finding their dream dress. Our entire team is so excited for you and will go above and beyond to welcome you with open arms. Say Yes - and you can continue the party at home with a complimentary bottle of Champagne!!
Yes, this is the best advice you will receive. When trying on our growns, your bridal stylist will be in the fitting room with you to assist with getting in and out of the dresses. So that you feel comfortable, please wear undergarments that you envision wearing on your wedding day. Sticky boobs are perfect for this process along with a nice pair of natural waisted Spanx. Please don't come commando;)
When trying on our dresses, you will discover that they come in all shapes and sizes. We will use our magical skills to make you feel like the dresses you are trying on are your perfect size. Once you say YES to your Dress, we then take your measurements and assist with selecting the size that will give you the best fit. Our samples gowns range in size from 8 to 30.
We know that there are so many components of your wedding and they likely all have a budget assigned to them. Your stylist will inquire what your desired pricepoint is and then guide you along your journey to your perfect dress with that pricepoint in mind. Your stylist will also provide information regarding the features, fabrics and attributes of our dresses that make them worth every penny. Your wedding day look will live on for a lifetime in your wedding pictures so your dress may be worth a little more of your budget than you may initially consider. Also, have a conversation with your loved ones that may be contributing to your wedding dress budget - many brides are surprised when they realize that grandma or mom has no budget in mind:)
Your bridal appointment will provide so many sharable moments so feel free to have a loved one take pictures of your journey and your favorite dresses. Certainly no pics of you in a dress should be shared on social - but that iconic I Said Yes pic will bust the internet for sure. We are a photo-friendly salon so sharing is caring!! We are also all about including anyone in the experience virtually. We can get you hooked up to our complimentary wifi and get everyone in on the fun.
We will greet you and your entourage with a smile and a comfortable bridal suite for your experience. But for the protection of our beautiful gowns and for health and safety reasons, we do request no outside food or drinks. Rolling up with a cheese tray is not how we roll. And coffee around white dresses is not cool either. Cheers to finding your dress - with our champagne - to take home and enjoy when you say Yes!
After you find your dress, our stylist will guide you through the next steps. We are with you every step of the way until you say I Do!! Your stylist will take measurements, assist in selecting the best size to order, review your order of your beautiful dress and explain our payment options. Payment in full is expected at the time that you place your order. Payment plans are always available too - just ask your stylist. We will then order your dress from the designer which can take up to 6 - 9 months. Once your dress arrives, we inspect it to ensure it arrived just as you envisioned and then we send you the most exciting text ever to let you know that She is HERE!! You will then schedule a very special appointment to come Meet Your Dress and slip her on for the very first time. At this appointment we will make sure you have all the answers regarding alterations and so on. Before you know it, you will be walking down the aisle to the love of your life in the dress of your dreams.
Let's admit it - most of us started looking for our perfect dress well before the bling was on our finger. Pinterest - We Heart You! Regardless of when your big day is, it is never too early to find your dress. Repeat - it is never too early to find your dress. Once you find The One - Say Yes - and move down your checklist to other planning elements. Your dress will set the tone for your entire wedding so finding your dress is the key to so many other components of your day. On the flip side, if you are late to the game or just have a super quick engagement, our team can work magic and assist with finding the perfect dress that will cater to almost any timeline. However, if you can avoid the last minute scramble to find a dress, this is highly recommended.
T & C is truly a bridal heaven - our salon was designed with our brides and their entourage in mind. So we understand why so many of our brides don't want to leave. We have reserved a bridal suite for you and your guests for 90 minutes. This will be ample time to find your dress, handle the order and take your Yes picture in front of our custom designed YES Wall! Remember - you will come back again to Say HELLO to your beautiful gown once she arrives. We love our T & C Brides and look forward to also assisting with our bridesmaids, mothers, flower girls and tuxedos. You will see us so much we will be like family.
Our goal is to order a dress that will provide the best fit possible but all wedding dresses will need some level of alterations for that perfect wedding day fit. We have developed amazing relationships with some of the most talented bridal seamstresses in the area. We deliberately do not have a seamstress on staff for a variety of reasons. All seamstresses have their strenghts and we want to partner you with the seamstress that has the highest level of skills for your particular dress. We also want to have you work with a seamstress that is conveniently located for you. You can select the seamstress that is closest to your home or work. For our brides that can't get enough of our beautiful store, we do have one seamstress partner that will meet you at our store for your fittings. In addition, by having 6 seamstress partners, there is likely always going to be a seamstress that has availability to work with you regardless of your timeline. And finally, bridal seamstress work is an art and often is not cheap. But we want you to get the most value for your money which means working directly with a seamstress and not encountering marked up fees for on staff alterations so that the store can make money on their work. We are with you every step of the way and that includes an amazing fitting experience as well.
Now that you are a T & C Bride and found your perfect dress, you are part of our family. And this means special treatment that provides benefits that will take you all the way to your walk down the aisle. Our amazing bridesmaids program provides stress-free coordination, and special pricing just for your ladies. And for those special guys, we can help them look dapper on the big day with our tuxedo and suit packages with a great deal for our T & C Gents. And don't forget the moms - our stylists will make them feel like the royalty they are and save them money too. And we literally have you covered from the Dress to the Driver with our partnership with Best Transportation that is the leading award winning chauffeured transportation provider in our region. Saving $100 on your wedding transportation is the icing on the cake.
We take tremendous pride in the amazing service and experience that we provide to everyone that steps through our doors. We put great effort and thought into helping our clients be styled to perfection for their special day. Many professional stylists charge for their services but we are happy to provide this service free of charge. We also must ensure that we have the maximum availability to work with clients that want to secure a coveted appointment with our team. As a result, if you cancel your appointment less than 48 hours before the scheduled start time or you do not show for your appointment, we will apply a $50 late cancellation fee. As a result, you will be asked to provide a credit card upon booking your appointment. We know that life happens and changes may be necessary, all we ask is that we be given ample time to allow another bride to have access to your appointment time. After our experience with COVID-19, we all can do out part to keep ourselves and each other safe and healthy. We got you!! Our team will take various measures to follow all the recommended guidelines.
- Thorough sanitization of the salon, our gowns between try ons and all possible contact points
- Monitor the health of our team to ensure they are healthy at all times. Any team member that is exhibiting any symptoms will be sent home and asked to seek medical attention before returning to the store
- All clients with appointments will be asked if they have a preference for any protective gear that they would like their stylist to use during their time in the store. We will provide PPE to our team members as requested. We do request that all guests bring their own protective equipment that they prefer.
- Our team may prefer to wear protective equipment beyond what is required by our State and Local government at their discretion. We have allowed our team to do what they prefer and are comfortable with and we appreciate your acceptance of their preferences
- Upon arrival at our store, all guests will be asked to wash their hands, and then be seated and stay seated in their assigned area
- We kindly request that all gowns be handled by the team of T & C to ensure proper sanitization.
- To comply with occupancy and social distancing recommendations and for the protection of our team and our other guests, each bride to bring up to 3 guests. We highly recommend including others in your experience virtually. We will gladly provide access to our complimentary guest wi-fi.
- No outside food or drink can be allowed for sanitary and health reasons.
